Somalia visa for Bangladeshis

SECURITY WARNING: the UK government (FCDO, updated 4 June 2026) advises against all travel to Somalia including Somaliland, except Awdal, Maroodijeh and Sahil regions where it advises against all but essential travel. It cites terrorism and continuing violence, with fighting between al-Shabaab and the government near Mogadishu. For entry, UK advice says a visa is required, and the Somali embassy in Washington states the eVisa (eTAS) system at etas.gov.so has been mandatory since 1 September 2025. UK advice also warns of an ongoing data breach affecting the eVisa system. No fee or processing time was shown on the official pages we could open, so these are marked for confirmation. Last checked 6 November 2026.
