What the checklist asks for

Official source checked
  • The VFS checklist asks for a referral certificate from your treating hospital and an acceptance certificate from the Thai hospital.
  • It asks for a six-month bank statement and a solvency letter. Only originals are accepted.
  • Names on all documents must match the passport exactly. Documents with misspelled names will be rejected.

Attendants and sponsors

Official source checked
  • Up to three accompanying persons may travel. The checklist says the patient and attendants must stay in the same hospital, and early return is not allowed.
  • Attendants need proof of relationship, such as a marriage or birth certificate.

Document checklist

Your exact list depends on your case. Our counsellor confirms it.

Things to watch

  • The checklist is from April 2021. It also lists COVID-era steps such as a Certificate of Entry and an RT-PCR test. These may no longer apply, so we left the details out.
  • Thailand's e-visa for Bangladeshis was reported live from January 2025. Ask us which route your case should use.
  • The Embassy can ask for more documents.
