Suriname visa for Bangladeshis

The official Suriname eVisa portal run by VFS Global for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs lists Bangladesh in its eVisa country list, all passport types, with a 90-day stay for tourist, business, transit and short-stay purposes. The Suriname immigration (ICF) page also says Bangladesh needs an e-Visa. Some third-party sites say Bangladeshis are visa-free; the official pages do not support that. Fee amounts shown on the portal are not labelled by nationality, so the total cost is marked as partly verified. Last checked 4 November 2026.

How to apply

Official source checked
  • Open the Suriname eVisa portal, upload the passport bio page (the system reads it automatically), complete the online form for your purpose (tourism, business, transit or short stay), upload the documents the category page asks for, and pay the fee online.
  • VFS says the Ministry of Foreign Affairs decides whether to grant a visa, VFS cannot guarantee approval, and the immigration officer at the airport makes the final entry decision. Visa and service fees are non-refundable even if the eVisa is denied.
  • If you are asked for extra documents and do not submit them within 30 days, the eVisa is denied and you must reapply with new fees.
  • On arrival, show your passport and eVisa and complete the online Immigration and Customs (ICF) form at icf.sr.

Total cost

Official source checked
  • Government visa fee plus VFS service fee, paid in USD or EUR online. For a single-entry 90-day eVisa the VFS fee table shows 50 plus 8 (USD 58 in total), but the table does not label amounts by nationality, so check the amount on the final payment screen. Travel Counsellor Ltd. service charges, if any, are quoted separately in BDT by our office. Checked 4 November 2026.

Risks for Bangladeshi applicants

Official source checked
  • Suriname has no direct flights from Dhaka, so you will transit through other countries (often Europe, the Middle East or the Americas). Each transit country may need its own visa; check them separately.
  • Do not buy an eVisa from unofficial websites. Use the VFS portal address given on the official ICF page and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  • Some third-party sites say Bangladeshis are visa-free for 90 days. The official eVisa portal and ICF page list Bangladesh as needing an eVisa.
  • The eTourist Card page lists only certain nationalities; the Bangladeshi category and fee must be confirmed on the portal.
  • Do not use dummy tickets or fake bookings.
  • Travel Counsellor Ltd. is a private consultancy, not an embassy. Visa decisions rest with the Suriname Ministry of Foreign Affairs and entry with immigration.
  • No approval is guaranteed, and fees and rules can change.
