Mongolia visa for Bangladeshis

The official Mongolian e-visa site evisa.mn does not list Bangladesh among its visa-free countries, so Bangladeshi ordinary passport holders need a visa, as we checked on 31 October 2026. The site shows Bangladesh in a second, unlabelled country list, and the Mongolian Immigration Agency says e-visas (K2 tourist, K4 sports and cultural, K6 transit) are issued only to listed countries, so we could not confirm that Bangladesh can use the e-visa. Fee, stay and processing time were not shown, and are marked 'Confirm with our office'.

Quick answer: Visa needed?: Yes. Bangladesh is not on the visa-free country list at evisa.mn.. E-visa: Immigration Agency says e-visas (K2 tourist, K4 sports and cultural up to 30 days, K6 transit) go to citizens of listed countries. Bangladesh's inclusion not confirmed.. Confirm before you pay.

Visa requirement

Official source checked
  • The evisa.mn page has a visa-free list. Bangladesh is not on it, so a visa is required before travel.
  • Immigration Agency pages say e-visas are available to citizens of a list of countries (98 to 99 by different pages) for K2 tourism, K4 sports and cultural activities for up to 30 days, and K6 transit. The country table was not readable, so check on evisa.mn whether Bangladesh is included before paying.

Passport and e-visa rules

Official source checked
  • The passport must be valid for at least 180 days before travel. The e-visa cannot be extended or converted, and the visa fee is non-refundable once paid.
  • On arrival you must register with the Immigration Agency within 7 days, and your host must register you online within 48 hours. For help the portal lists visasection@immigration.gov.mn.
