The Lebanese General Directorate of General Security lists Bangladesh among countries whose nationals need prior authorization from General Security before entering Lebanon. Its page on visa conditions lists general visit-visa documents but no fee, and we could not confirm a Bangladesh-specific tourist procedure when we checked on 31 October 2026.   • Requests are submitted to General Security regional departments through a host in Lebanon, who provides certified copies of their ID, passport and residence permit. The decision is taken by the General Director or the head of the relevant bureau.
  • Visit visa categories include individual tourism, family, medical, study, business and transit. Individual tourism needs a hotel booking, a plane ticket and proof of finances. Bookings must be genuine.
